All of Sweden
Skåne
Skåne is the southernmost region in Sweden and easily accessible from Copenhagen Airport; here you will get two countries within a reach of 20 minutes. Skåne is a region of contrasts with urban cities, elegant castles, rocky mountains and sandy beaches. Skåne is a region where you enjoy accommodation at cosy mansions, elegant five-star properties, boutique hotels and farms. Travel around to really experience the region, it is well worth it! In Skåne you can enjoy sailing, a historical dinner in a citadel, follow in the footsteps of Kurt Wallander, have a try at the famous Swedish first potato harvest, travel by speed-boat and enjoy an exotic food experience. Among other things.

The West Coast
Here you experience constantly changing sceneries, picturesque fishing villages, and secluded getaways. There are many different destinations that can meet your request on an incentive but the most famous one is probably Gothenburg. Gothenburg with its cosy city centre and amazing archipealgo is a paradise for boaters but also when not having your own boat the sea and the islands are easy to reach.
From Strömstad you reach the fascinating island of Koster. Tjörn is Sweden’s sixth largest island and attracts those interested in sailing and swimming. Stenungsund has changed from a quiet summer resort into a regional business centre. No matter where you chose to go and how many that you are travelling the west coast has a lot to offer for your incentive! Here are traditional hotels, boutique hotels, small resorts and a floating hotel. Here are activitites such as sailing, kayaking, speed-boating, lobster-fishing, whiskey-tasting, biking and mountain climbing. And do not forget to try the amazing fresh seafood!

Småland – the kingdom of Crystal
In Småland there are 15 glassworks within only some kilometers of which many are world-famous. Småland is also world famous for design firms and furniture on show in “the kingdom of furniture”. It was from Småland that many people emigrated and travelled to America but today this region is bustling with life, art and activity. To get the visitors to stay a glass-hotel opened in the region in June 2009 but apart from this the region can also offer a design hotel, traditional hotels and mansions. Here you can go freshwater paddling and fishing, climbing and bouldering, biking and strolling through deep enchanted forests, enjoy the beauty of the lakes and get to know the history of IKEA.

North Sweden
Here you find a vast landscape, endless vistas of pine forest, Polar plains, meadows and glaciers. Many visitors are most familiar with Swedish Lapland, which is Europe’s last remaining wilderness. The IceHotel, located in Jukkasjärvi, is one of the reasons for the Lapland fame of course but there is so much more! Here you enjoy the peace, tranquility, grandeur, poetry and drama of the Arctic landscape. Here you find Sweden’s highest mountain, here you can get to learn more about the Sami people, visit a National park or world heritage site. Here one can see bear, elk, wolverine, golden eagle and Arctic fox. And here one can of course see the Midnight sun. The north of Sweden is well worth a visit at any time of the year.

Wolfgang Greiner / Visit Sweden
I am really fond of Jukkasjärvi in Swedish Lapland. Most probably due to unforgotten encounters with the friendly, open-minded and hospitable local people, the cultural richness and the marvellous natural surroundings. In the village Jukkasjärvi, which name is of Sámi origin meaning meeting place by the lake, people from all over the world gather mostly attracted by the first and famous Ice Hotel which will celebrate its 21st anniversary the coming winter season.
