Meetings in Oslo
Legends of heroes, trolls and princesses roaming the countryside outside this charming city do not reveal that Oslo, situated at the end of a 70-mile (110km) long fjord, is a well equipped and growing congress and conference city with hotels and meeting facilities for up to 7,000 persons.
The city’s compact centre with the majority of hotels, meeting facilities and tourist attractions within walking distance makes Oslo a practical venue.
A new and modern congress centre for 6000 persons is located at Lillestrøm – half-way between the airport and the city centre. The centre also has large exhibition facilities.
Spektrum, centrally located in Oslo, is one of Norway’s largest multi-purpose arenas, as is used for concerts featuring world artists, for trade-shows/exibitions and for congresses and conferences. Adjacent to the Oslo Spektrum are large hotels, restaurants and the central station.
Just outside Oslo you find the city’s newest arena, Telenor Arena, which seats 500 people in the biggest meeting room. This multipurpose arena accommodates everything from traditional meetings to events.
Scandinavian Image is also delighted to assist with the social programme on your conference; ask us about accommodation, transfers, dinner arrangements, parties, activities, excursions, and other events adding the finishing touch to your meeting.
