Åre and Östersund are two resorts in Jämtland in mid-Sweden and located only one hour from one another. The two can be combined or visited separately and no matter what you chose the destinations are well equipped to meet your demands.
Östersund
In Östersund the conference facilities can cater for up to 1500 delegates and here we can offer entertainment and recreation all-year-round, often within walking distance of the hotel and the town centre.
Åre
Åre is a big mountain village where the biggest conference facility seats 1500 delegates. Here we can offer entertainment and recreation all-year-round, often within walking distance of the hotel and the village centre.
Getting here
Fly from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Östersund Airport in only one hour. Or fly to Trondheim and take the train from there, a beautiful journey of 1½ or 2½ hours depending on if you are going to Östersund or Åre. You can also go by train from Stockholm City or from Stockholm Arlanda Airport, a journey of between 7 and 8 hours depending on destination – start your conference already on board the train!
